OBJECTIVE
Understand practices and pain points for on-premises, cloud server users, hybrid solutions, provider partners, and customers address issues related to sustainability, re-purposing of hardware and servers. What is the “journey” of server systems and components take throughout their lifecycle?

METHODS
One-on-one, in-depth interviews, ethnographic exploration, affinity diagramming. We used Dovetail for database management, transcription and analysis. The journeys were drafted in Figma and iterated through participatory design style interviews.

RESULTS
Journey maps, personas and future strategy recommendations. Provided data center and AI future trend recommendations, initiatives, and product planning opportunities for the next 30 years that is driving corporate strategy.

OBJECTIVE
Improve the developer experience of using the optimization and inference models. Addressing broad documentation, UI, tools and usability issues. Increase adoption across multiple partners and the deep learning developer community.

METHODS
Rapid Iterative Testing & Evaluation (RITE), behavioral user studies, interviews, surveys, participatory design, low to mid-fidelity prototype interviews and study sessions. Moderated and unmoderated user testing on Linux & Windows leveraging GitHub repositories and assorted hardware accelerators.

RESULTS

Through iterative improvements, OpenVINO is now the open source industry leading AI engine that saw a 82% improvement in usefulness over the course of 13 months. The number of users surged exponentially, growing from hundreds to tens of thousands, largely driven by positive word-of-mouth and online acclaim.

OBJECTIVE
Collaborate with global logistics and telecommunications partners to deliver a multi-factor monitoring device, cloud-based real-time data monitoring high value objects with any OS.

METHODS
Cross-partner UX collaboration, user studies, prototype development, field study ethnography, journey maps, persona development and validation. Led design vendors using Web, iOS and Android patterns and conventions.

RESULTS
Information architecture for all documentation, Web UI, mobile applications (iOS & Android). Successful launch of global industrial solution saving companies millions in property loss. The comprehensive asset tracking device integrated with real time mobile and satellite tracking resulted in a Divisional Recognition Award.
