User Lens Pro: AI-Powered Innovation for UX, Business, and Product Development - In Beta
OBJECTIVE
Design an Artificial Intelligence that could be used to guide stakeholders through the Lean UX Canvas process. This custom GPT would focus on uncovering critical insights about users and aligning strategy with business goals. By integrating industry reports, competitive analysis, and UX standards, it would provide a comprehensive plan and recommendations to enhance any business’ strategy, business, research, and design process.

Movie Recommendation React Application with AI Enhanced Intelligence
OBJECTIVE
Develop an AI-driven movie recommendation solution that integrates with multiple streaming platforms, delivering personalized and group-specific suggestions. This custom GPT-powered solution is designed to reduce decision fatigue by offering tailored content recommendations, maximizing viewing satisfaction across all users' preferred genres and platforms.
METHODS
Product Testing: User feedback, satisfaction, and engagement metrics.
Persona Development and Validation: Creating and refining user personas to ensure the system meets diverse user needs.
Custom GPT Programming: Implementation of a specialized language model for movie recommendations.
Responsive Web Design: Development of a React-based app with dynamic UI/UX for various devices.
Multi-User Preference Integration: Algorithms that account for group preferences in recommendations.
STATUS
The project is currently in its Beta phase, with significant progress made in refining the recommendation engine and user interface. The AI GPT model is being tested and is available to try. The React app is being used for UI testing, and feedback is actively being gathered to further enhance its capabilities. Potential partners and developers are invited to explore and provide input to help shape the future of multi-person, multi-streaming video entertainment.

Beer Advisor Personalized AI Chat Bot
OBJECTIVE
Create a custom AI-driven beer recommendation solution leveraging GPT technology, designed to assist beer enthusiasts with tailored beer suggestions. Enhance user experiences by analyzing preferences, integrating contextual awareness, and providing real-time recommendations. It is designed to delight beer lovers through improved decision-making, education, and discovery, maximizing satisfaction across diverse beer styles and contexts.
METHODS
Contextual Awareness: Location-based and venue-aware recommendations, ensuring users get the best beers available wherever they are.
Menu Scanning and Analysis: Allows users to upload or photograph menus for instant and specific recommendations.
Comprehensive Data Integration: Incorporates user ratings, global beer guidelines (e.g., BJCP), and community reviews to refine suggestions.
Dynamic Interface: Engages users with a fun, intuitive conversational platform.
STATUS
The project is in active development with key features such as preference-based recommendations and menu scanning implemented. The AI model dynamically adapts to user preferences and continues to evolve with feedback. Potential collaborators, beer professionals, and tech enthusiasts are invited to contribute to the GPT's development, ensuring it remains at the forefront of beer appreciation and discovery.

RESULTS
Through iterative improvements, OpenVINO is now the open source industry leading AI engine that saw a 82% improvement in usefulness over the course of 13 months. The number of users surged exponentially, growing from hundreds to tens of thousands, largely driven by positive word-of-mouth and online acclaim.

Sustainable Data Center Innovation
OBJECTIVE
Understand practices and pain points for on-premises, cloud server users, hybrid solutions, provider partners, and customers address issues related to sustainability, re-purposing of hardware and servers. What is the “journey” of server systems and components take throughout their lifecycle?METHODS

Journeys were drafted in Figma and iterated through participatory design style interviews.

Journey maps, personas and future strategy recommendations. Provided data center and AI future trend recommendations, initiatives, and product planning opportunities for the next 30 years that continues to drive corporate strategy. -
Advanced Biometric Security
OBJECTIVE
Lead the integration of PasswordBox, a cross-platform password manager acquired by McAfee, with McAfee's existing biometric authentication tools. Focus on solving password management issues by incorporating fingerprint and face detection technology. Collaborate with global teams to ensure seamless integration and broad user adoption.
METHODS
Initial Testing and Validation: Conducted rigorous testing and validation of the biometric authentication integration to ensure reliability and security.
Prototyping: Developed and iterated on various login and setup options to enhance user experience.
Browser Integrations: Created seamless browser integrations to extend the functionality and accessibility of the password manager.
Collaboration: Worked closely with engineering and stakeholders across the US, Canada, India, China, and Brazil.
Tools and techniques used included in-depth collaboration with cross-functional teams, participatory design, and iterative testing processes.
RESULTS
Successfully integrated biometric authentication into the True Key product, enhancing its security and user-friendliness. Scaled AI-driven biometric authentication tools from ideation to 2M+ users through iterative improvements using DScout, UserTesting, and UserZoom. Delivered a robust, secure password management solution on time and within budget.

Desktop Software Accessibility Evaluation
OBJECTIVE
Enhance the accessibility of McAfee Total Protection desktop software. Address various accessibility issues to ensure the software is usable for individuals with different disabilities. Improve overall user experience and increase adoption among a broader range of users.
METHODS
Keyboard-only navigation
Screen reader compatibility testing (JAWS or Window Eyes)
Screen magnifier testing (Zoom Text)
Voice navigation testing (Dragon Naturally Speaking)
Simulated visual impairments (using or removing glasses)
Simulated motor impairments (using an imprecise substitute for a mouse, such as a trackball or a mouse on a reflecting surface)
Sound adjustments (turning the sound very silent or off)
One-handed usage testing
High contrast mode (setting the screen to black and white to check contrast sufficiency)
RESULTS
Through comprehensive evaluation and targeted recommendations, McAfee Total Protection significantly improved its accessibility features. Key areas such as keyboard access, alternative text, screen reader compatibility, zoom & text control, and high contrast compatibility were addressed. These enhancements led to a more inclusive user experience, ensuring that the software could be effectively used by a wider range of users, including those with disabilities.
