a word about sarcasm

Although sarcasm tends to work well in person and when having fun at a party. I do find that it can get in the way when emailing, having a meeting at work or even when posting on my blog.

I put up a video with a comedian who is posing as a republican candidate and wrote that we should all listen to what all candidates have to say. This was all meant to be tongue-in-cheek… Seems that people did not understand what I was trying for.

Is this going to be another one of those situations like what happened with Stephen Colbert? People thought he actually WAS conservative…Do you not get the irony?

Anyway, I shall continue to be sarcastic and if it goes over their heads…then maybe they should stick to FOX.com????
